YourParkingSpace built on the same basic idea Primal Parking pitched in the Den: connecting owners of unused driveways, garages and parking spaces with drivers who need somewhere to leave their car. The core insight, that huge amounts of private parking capacity sit empty most of the day while drivers circle looking for a space, clearly had legs even if the first attempt at commercialising it did not go the distance.

Flowbird Group, the company that acquired YourParkingSpace in 2022, is a major international player in parking technology and payments, which gives some sense of scale.
