Touker is a rag-trade veteran who owns British shirtmaker Hawes & Curtis and fashion brand Ghost. Since joining in Series 13 he has been the Dragon to beat when a pitch involves manufacturing, fashion, retail margins or supply chains, areas where his decades of hands-on experience are hard to argue with.

It helps to zoom out. The six main dragons have committed very different totals over the years, and Touker's £1.5M falls in the middle of the pack. Volume tells you appetite. It does not tell you returns.
